Quba is one of the most beautiful corners of Azerbaijan, which is famous for its picturesque views, historical sights, of course its apple orchards, handmade carpets, sweets inherent in this particular region and many more that you will see during your tour of Quba.

Quba is a city in Azerbaijan, 168 km north-west of Baku. It is located on the northeastern slopes of Shahdag Mountain, at an altitude of 600 m above sea level, on the banks of the Kudial-chay River. This is one of the most beautiful corners of Azerbaijan, which is famous for its picturesque views, historical sights, of course, its apple orchards, handmade carpets, sweets inherent in this particular region. On the way to Quba, we will stop at Mount Beshbarmag, which means “5 fingers”. This is a mystical mountain with which many legends are associated. Its height is slightly more than 500 meters, but no climber has yet managed to conquer this mountain. The mountain has an indescribable energy.

During the excursion we will visit the city of Quba, where we will see historical monuments: Juma mosque, Sakin-khanum mosque, eastern domed baths of the 19th century. Juma Mosque resembles a faceted cylinder and has the shape of an octagon. Inside the mosque there is a large hall crowned with a huge dome 16 m in diameter. The Sakina-Khanum Mosque was built of red brick and looks like a faceted cylinder. Each face has a semicircular arch window.  The top of the facade is surrounded by original eaves made of small bricks. From above, this stately building is crowned with a large white metal dome in the shape of a multi-faceted helmet. Chukhur hamam is a bathhouse. The hamam is unique due to its beehive-shaped brick dome. During his stay in Quba, Alexandre Dumas bathed in this bath.

Quba is also one of the centers of carpet weaving. We will be able to visit a factory where famous Azerbaijani carpets are woven by hand. Then we will walk along the Gudialchay bridge - this is the only remaining bridge that existed in the Guba district in the 17th-19th centuries. The bridge was built in 1894 according to the project of Alexander III. On this bridge we will get to the Caucasus Jerusalem - the village of Krasnaya Sloboda, where from the middle of the 5th century. Mountain Jews live. Here we will visit the synagogue and walk around the village, as well as visit the Nizami Park.

In the vicinity of Quba there are many picturesque corners of nature, such as Gashresh, where you can see an arched forest, Tengealty gorge with a depth of 400 to 600 meters, and many waterfalls.
